Holiday Season Competition – A word from our President

The many volunteers – Junior and Senior members as well as parents who made the Holiday Season  Competition  a success should congratulate one another on a job well done.  It is an activity that brings us together for an important goal – advancing the opportunities for CFSC skaters to compete at home.

For those of you who couldn’t join us this year, please do so next year.

Holiday Season Competition is just 1 week from today

The behind-the-scenes team of the Holiday Season Competition is ready to go and excited to welcome you to the OSU ice rink next Saturday.  As many of you know, depending on your arrival time, traffic and parking may be of concern. Recently we send an email with detailed information about traffic and parking, but a few of those bounced back. So, we’re posting it here, too.

If you haven’t already, double check the online searchable schedule to confirm your events. If you have any questions about your events, please contact Mel Shilling

And, if you are a local parent or family member and haven’t scheduled your volunteer time, Jen Beck would love to hear from you.

Good luck to skaters and coaches as you prepare for the competition in these last few days.

Holiday Competition Volunteers Needed

For those of you who may not know me, I’m Jen Beck (also known as little Caroline’s mom), and I’ll be coordinating volunteers again this year.

Fall is definitely in the air, and many of you are looking forward to Halloween.  But before you know it, the Holiday Competition will be upon us. This year’s competition is December 1st, so it is truly just around the corner. The Competition will run for roughly 11 – 12 hours, starting at 6:30 or 7 AM.  We need volunteers for 3 hour shifts, early morning, late morning, early afternoon, and late afternoon (7-10, 10-1P, 1-4P, 4-end).

We need you to help make it a success.  Continue reading
