Traffic Alert: Sunday, 11/10/13
There is an event on campus Sunday morning that will close Woody Hayes Drive/Woodruff Avenue near the rink from 9:30am to 1pm. Lane Avenue will be OPEN, but traffic may be heavier than normal. Please allow extra time to/from the rink. UPDATE: Sunday, 10/20/13
Based on additional information received from OSU Police regarding Lane Avenue, we have cancelled club ice from 7 – 11:45am. Contracted skaters will receive credits. Group lessons from 12:30 – 1:30pm are still scheduled. Participants should look for an e-mail from LeRae with additional information.

The Columbus Marathon is this Sunday (10/20/13) morning. The full marathon route runs through the campus area on W. Lane Avenue, Fyffe Road, Woody Hayes Drive and around the stadium. The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will close portions of Woody Hayes Drive (and College Road, Neil Avenue and 17th Avenue) between 10am and 12:30pm. The parking lots surrounding the OSU Ice Rink are managed by CampusParc. You have several options for parking when skating at the rink. 1) Park with a valid OSU faculty/staff/student permit. 2) Park with a Visitor Surface Lot Permit (Off-Peak) (obtained from 160 Bevis Hall at 1080 Carmack Road on West Campus). There is a concert (Pink) at the Schott tonight at 7:30pm. Expect heavier traffic than normal and possibly special event parking fees.
