Ice Dancer Joy Davis Relocating to Las Vegas

Congratulations to CFSC ice dancer Joy Davis, the entire Davis family, and Coach Diane Huston!

Joy has been selected to train and partner ice dance with 15 year old Alex Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada. Joy and Alex will be coached by Coach Nancy Chacurian-Viveiros. The immediate goal for the dance partners is to train hard and compete at Juvenile or Intermediate level by next year.

Training starts the 2nd week of October in Las Vegas. The Davis family will be relocating to Las Vegas in order to support Joy in this amazing opportunity. Please congratulate them when you see them!

Congratulations to our newest Freeskate Gold Medalist, Rina!

Today Rina Saji past her Senior Freeskate test. Passing the Senior Freeskate test and the 15 tests that must precede it is a tremendously difficult task requiring years of dedicated work and a great deal of skill. CFSC is pleased to award this high honor to Rina Saji. Congratulations to Rina, her coaches, and her family.

Basic Skills Coordinator Position Available

skating_youngskaters_smDue to increasing interest in our Basic Skills Group Lessons program, CFSC is looking for a Basic Skills Coordinator.

Are you organized? Think  you would enjoy sharing the joy of skating with parents and skaters new to the sport?

CFSC needs your special talents to coordinate its Learn to Skate program. (A small stipend is offered and will be discussed individually with candidates.)
