Club winter outing at All Star Festival

You may not understand the challenge to figure skating on a pairs of hockey skates. But our club members had fun at All Star ourdoor ice rink last Sunday. It was the first time for lots of them to skate on hockey skates. At the end, they all can do cool turns and other tricky movements. Practice makes perfect!

Our next club test is on March 8th from 7 to 11:30AM at the OSU ice rink. The deadline for the application is Feb. 21st. Please act fast since the session will be filled soon. The application form can be found on our Test page.

Another opportunity to skate at All Star Festival

The figure skating community has an opportunity to skate at the All Star Rink next Thursday, January 22nd from 8:30a.m.-10:00a.m. Special pricing $5 (cash only at the tent)!

This is during typical school and work hours, but it is a unique opportunity that we will probably only see once in a lifetime.

If you do come, please know that the ice is not as thick as we are accustomed to – so no toe jumps will be permitted.
